Your Holiday Gift of Giving will help hungry and homeless New Yorkers dine in the beautiful sanctuary of the landmark Church of the Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen this holiday season and throughout the winter.

Every weekday, since 1982, Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen has served meals to hungry and homeless New Yorkers.

Our mission is to feed the hungry, comfort the afflicted, seek justice for the homeless, and provide a sense of hope and opportunity to those in need.

In addition to our food program, our committed staff and volunteers work with guests to ensure they are receiving full benefits, connect them to additional supportive services, help with job applications and even reunite them with family members.

Our ultimate goal is to empower our guests to experience a more manageable and fulfilling way of life.

In addition to connecting our guests to health, housing, training and jobs, our social services counselors distribute much needed items through out the year. Items like warm socks, blankets, and coats can save lives during the freezing temperatures some of our guests who are street homeless face.

We rely on the compassion of individual donors to fund about half of annual costs covering  meals, social services, and operating costs.

We strive to make holiday meals extra special, by purchasing ingredients so that hungry New Yorkers can have the same traditional entrees and desserts so many of us are able to enjoy with our family and loved ones. Thank you for your part in making the holidays a special time for hungry New Yorkers, and for help providing a warm refuge and hot meals through the winter.
